Kystbyene på Sørlandet
Grimstad -- Ibsens by
Grimstad er en av Sørlandets mest sjarmerende småbyer, vakkert plassert ved sjøen med hvite trehus som klatrer oppover åsene. Byen er uløselig knyttet til Henrik Ibsen, som bodde og arbeidet her som ung apotekerlærling på 1840-tallet. Det var i Grimstad han skrev sitt forste skuespill, "Catilina", og i dag kan du besoke Ibsenmuseet som er innredet i det gamle apoteket der han jobbet.
Utover Ibsen-arven har Grimstad et livlig sentrum med nisjebutikker, kunstgallerier og flere prisbelonte restauranter. Grimstad Sjosenter byr på fantastiske sjømatopplevelser med utsikt over havna. Kystlandskapet rundt byen er nydelig, med smale sund, holmer og badebuktene som gjor at mange foretrekker å tilbringe en hel dag her. Lillesand -- Den urørte perlen
Lillesand er kanskje den mest fotogene av alle Sørlandets småbyer. Det som gjor Lillesand helt spesiell er at byen aldri har brent ned -- noe som er uvanlig for norske trehusbyer. Derfor star 1700-tallshusene fremdeles intakt langs de smale smugene, og hele sentrum fremstar som et levende museum over kystarkitektur fra seilskutetiden. Med sine hvitmalte fasader, blomsterfylte gater og den koselige gjestehavna er Lillesand selve postkortbyen på Sørlandet.
Et absolutt høydepunkt er Blindleia -- den berømte indre skjærgårdsleia som strekker seg mellom Lillesand og Kristiansand. Tvedestrand -- Bokbyen ved sjøen

Coastal Towns of Sørlandet
Grimstad -- Ibsen's Town
Grimstad is one of Sørlandet's most charming small towns, beautifully set by the sea with white wooden houses climbing up the hillsides. The town is inseparably linked to Henrik Ibsen, who lived and worked here as a young pharmacist's apprentice in the 1840s. It was in Grimstad that he wrote his first play, "Catilina", and today you can visit the Ibsen Museum housed in the old pharmacy where he worked.

Grimstad Sjosenter offers fantastic seafood experiences with views over the harbour. An absolute highlight is Blindleia -- the famous inner archipelago waterway stretching between Lillesand and Kristiansand.
